Hand Knotted Persian Abadeh Rug
Abadeh is a picturesque market town, situated on the road between Isfahan and Shiraz in the south of Iran. The designs from this area are inspired by the Ghashghai nomads who had their summer pastures in the area. The carpets usually have geometric patterns in the centure and can feature small pictures of birds, animals and flowers. They are renowned for their fine quality and hardy durability.
