About These Terms and Conditions

In these Terms and Conditions "we" and "us" Aladdin Rugs NZ of 1 Robert ST Ellerslie Auckland New Zealand , and "you" means you the customer. These Terms and Conditions together with your Order constitute the entire Contract between us and you for the supply of Products. The Contract cannot be varied unless we agree to vary it in writing or by email.

New Zealand and Australia Sales Only Unless arranged prior to purchase

We sell and ship products only in New Zealand and Australia. 

Legal Capacity To Transact

If you are under the age eighteen (18) years you cannot place orders with Aladdin Rugs NZ. By accepting these Terms and Conditions you acknowledge that you are over the age of eighteen (18) years. Should Aladdin Rugs NZ suffer any damage or other losses as a result of a transaction entered into by a minor, Aladdin Rugs NZ reserves the right to seek compensation for such losses from the parents or guardians of the minor who caused any order(s) to be placed with Aladdin Rugs NZ

Placing Your Order

You may place an Order by filling in the Order Form on the Aladdin Rugs NZ Web Site and clicking the "Submit My Order" button. When you place your Order, we will issue you with an Order Number. We will do this by email. By placing an Order, you make an offer to us to purchase the Products you have selected based on these Terms and Conditions. Information contained on the Aladdin Rugs NZ website constitutes an invitation to treat. No information on our website constitutes or should be deemed as an offer by us to supply any Products; however Aladdin Rugs NZ will make every effort to supply Products to you. We will notify you that your order is being processed by sending you an Order Confirmation and tax invoice via email; however, we do not formally accept your offer until your order has passed our internal validation procedures for verifying the bona fides of each order placed, for the purpose of preventing credit card or payment fraud. Aladdin Rugs NZ and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion. We will confirm acceptance of your order when we send you an email confirming shipment of the goods you have ordered. If we cannot process or accept your Order after payment is received we will contact you by email or telephone.

We try our best to be accurate as possible regarding the rug size of all our rugs .please accept the size variation up to 5 to 10 cm. If  you intend to purchase a rug and require an exact measurement please request this by email .

Rug Colours/ Appearance: We try to provide plenty of images and videos of a rug to show the accurate colour and texture of a rug. These are taken in a photographic studio with a HD camera however sometimes depending on your monitor/screen brightness and also your own lighting/room brightness the rug colours can look different to the images. Please allow for a slight colour variation depending on your monitor settings. You're welcome to email us if you want to clarify colours before purchasing.

Payment Methods And Processing

Aladdin Rugs NZ currently accepts PayPal, Visa and Mastercard. Order processing will not begin until we receive all the information we need. Orders placed on a weekend or a Public holiday will not begin order processing until the next business day. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding Auckand Public holidays. We process credit card and PayPal payments after you click the "Submit My Order" button. For credit card and PayPal payments we will email a tax invoice to you with your Order Confirmation.

Please Note:

  • We are unable to accept credit cards issued by banks outside of New Zealand.
  • Debit cards and cheque cards have daily spending limits that may substantially delay the processing of your order.
  • You may be required to provide further identification for additional security reference checks.

LAY -BY

We offer lay-by on sales of $50 & over . The lay-buy period is up-to 4 weeks including shipping charges (if any) and the First payment of %20 needs to be deposited within 3days of the purchase.

Please ensure you include your INVOICE number with every lay-by payment & the items will be couriered once the full payment is done.

Aladdin Rugs PRICE MATCHING GUARANTEE

If you find a lower price on an identical stocked product in New Zealand we will match the price and give you free underlay!
 
-Underlay can be either for wooden or carpet floors and will be the closest size to the size of your purchased item.
-The competitors rug must be identical in design, quality, size and colour to what is for sale from Aladdin Rugs.
-All sales are final. We will honour our obligations under the consumer guarantees act but are not obliged to provide a refund or offer the 7 days money back guarantee service on price match items.
 
-Excludes trade and special quotes, stock liquidations and commercial quantities.
 
- Please present proof of competitor pricing (e.g. mailer, quote, website listing) and ensure all price match Terms and Conditions are satisfied.
 
-The purchase must take place within the promotional period advertised by the competitor and must still be available at that price from the competitor.
 
- Price match applies only to regular, in-stock products offered for sale from a New Zealand rug supplier.
 
- Price match does not include typographical errors.
 
- The Price match may be terminated or amended at any time without notice and is subject to Aladdin Rugs usual terms and conditions of trade.

Supply Of Your Products

Subject to these Terms and Conditions, we will supply to you the Products indicated on your Order Confirmation. When your Order items have been dispatched, we will email you to confirm shipment of each item including a tracking number for each item.

"Pick Up"

Aladdin Rugs NZ we're always looking for ways to improve your shopping experience. We now offer a "Pick Up" service for many of the products on our website, allowing you to save on shipping time and costs by picking up eligible products from our Showroom.

Select the "Pick Up" option during the checkout process for each of the products you wish to pick up.

Your Order Confirmation email will show any products you have selected as "Pick Up" and important pick-up information, including the dimensions of each of your products.

Email notification will be sent to you as soon as your order is ready for pick-up. Please do not attempt to pick up before receiving your notification as your order will not be ready.

What to Bring - You (or your representative) will need to show photo ID (Drivers Licence, Proof of Age Card, Passport) and a copy of the Tax Invoice. You will also be asked to provide a signature to validate the pick up of the order. If your order contains heavy/bulky products (eg any individual product weighing more than 15kg) we recommend that you bring someone to assist you.

Returns - All returns must be processed via our normal online procedure by contacting our Customer Service department. Please refer to the Returning a Product section of these Terms and Conditions for full details. Products without a Return Authorisation (RA) will not be accepted

Delivery Of Your Products

Delivery time takes 2 to 10 working days from the date your payment is received. Where you have purchased a Product that is dispatched from one of our satellite warehouses, delivery time after payment processing may take up to 3 weeks. In all instances estimated delivery times will be displayed at the check out for your Product. Aladdin Rugs NZ makes every effort to deliver your Product according to the estimated delivery times provided by Aladdin Rugs NZ at checkout. The estimated delivery times are in business days (Monday through Friday) excluding Public holidays. Although every effort is made to ship your Order according to the estimated delivery times provided, estimated ship times may change due to changes in supply or circumstances beyond our control. If your Product has not arrived after the estimated delivery time, please contact us here. We encourage you to visit the “Your Account” section on our website to view the delivery status of your Products. Unless otherwise agreed by us, we will deliver your Products to the address indicated on your Order Confirmation. If no-one is available to take delivery of your Products, our carrier will leave a card so you can pick-up your Product from your local courier depot. . We will use our reasonable efforts to deliver your Products to you within the estimated delivery time indicated on your Order Confirmation; however, we do not guarantee that we will deliver within this time frame

“Shipping Charges"

Free shipping within New Zealand and Australia. Any return shipping will be at buyers expense. 

Consumer Guarantees

- We offer a 7 day change of mind promise to our customers – if your rug has arrived and its not quite what you wanted you can return it to us within 7 days no questions asked.( please note there is no refund if you buy a rug at store unless previously arranged )  We will provide you with a refund or store credit so you can choose something else from our range. This will provide you with peace of mind buying online. Please note that return shipping will be at buyers expense. Please note that the colours may vary slightly depending on your computer screen settings or light reflection while taking the picture. So please choose carefully.

Consumer guarantees apply under the New Zealand Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes the application of those guarantees. For more information about your rights as a consumer, see the New Zealand Consumer Law website at www.consumeraffairs.govt.nz If a Product has a minor defect, we will provide a repair or offer you a replacement or a refund. If a Product has a major defect, you are entitled to:

  • reject the goods and receive a refund
  • reject the goods and receive an identical replacement, or one of similar value if reasonably available, or
  • keep the goods and receive compensation for the drop in value caused by the problem.

If you think that a Product is defective you should contact us as soon as possible and a Aladdin Rugs NZ Customer Service Representative will assist you. A photo may be requested to assist with the assessment of your claim. Where a Product is defective and needs to be replaced or repaired return shipping will be arranged at the expense of Aladdin Rugs NZ. If a Product is replaced, your replacement Product becomes your property and the returned Product becomes our property. When a refund is given, the returned Product becomes our property

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and Australia and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand and Australia.
