Caring for your rug:
Firstly - Always read the cleaning and care instructions on your rugs label or tag. This is the best way to ensure a long life for your rug.
- Natural fibres like Jute, Hemp and Sisal should be kept away from water and moisture as these will stain the natural fibres of the rug. If your rug has bright dyes and becomes wet you should remove from floor immediately to prevent the risk of the colour staining the flooring under the rug.
-Do not pull any loose threads - clip with scissors to remove.
Rotating your rug(s) on a regular basis will help distribute the wear and give the rug a chance to recover, especially on spots that receive the weight of furniture or foot traffic. If a bump occurs you can also stretch the rug out tightly, making sure the lump in the fabric has been pulled taut. Position a heavy piece of furniture at either end of the rug and/or on the bump to hold it in place for at least 24 hours.
-Rug grip non-slip pads are recommended to help prolong the life of your rug and are available for hard surfaces or carpet flooring.
